I was raised on a dairy farm in southern Minnesota where I learned the value of discipline and developed a good work ethic.  While attending University of Minnesota, Duluth, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Management, I spent my college summers in a direct sales internship.  It helped me develop skills in sales, leadership, and organizational management.  In 2010 with five years of experience under my belt, I learned about the opportunity with Family Heritage from a good friend.
 
When I interviewed with the Infinity Business Group agency, I loved that not only was I going to get paid really well today, but I was also going to have an income stream that would pay me long-term.  I had the ability to work with people with shared values and that I enjoyed spending time with, who were willing to invest in my growth and development.
 
I love that in our business we truly get paid what we’re worth; you don’t get rich overnight, but build wealth for the long-run.
 
Angie
I grew up in the small town of Cascade, Iowa.  I received my bachelor’s from Loras College in Dubuque, IA, graduated in 2004, and went on to receive my masters in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.  I paid my way through school by spending my summers in a direct sales internship, adding a variety of sales, leadership, and business skills to my resume.  I soon realized that a sales career was a much better fit than engineering.
 
In 2008 I heard about Family Heritage from a good friend and was immediately attracted to the income opportunity and flexibility.  At first, I wasn’t sure about a career with an insurance company.  Everyone I spoke with was so easy to talk to and positive, which really gave me a sense of the team atmosphere and that I would be well-supported.
 
This business has been fulfilling for me in so many ways.  In my years with Family Heritage I have been so fortunate to be mentored by leaders that I respect professionally and look up to in my personal life.  I have made so many meaningful friends along the way and even been able to have the time and money to pursue my love of travel.  All this and every day I get to wake up feeling good about what we do day in and day out: protecting families.
 
Together
We met on a mid-year sales trip with Family Heritage and became friends over the course of the next couple years on incentive trips and sales meetings together.  After we dated for a year, Kevin moved to Iowa and we married in the fall of 2015.  This brought about a unique opportunity to join forces and create a “family” business.  We both had established client bases and teams over the first three to five years of our careers, and wanted to maintain our individuality, while building a business together.  Our strengths and weaknesses complement each other and running a business together has brought about exciting new challenges and adventures.  Most importantly, it has really broadened our vision for our business and the future for our family.
